Hey everyone! Megan graciously asked me to write a guest post for her fabulous blog, so here I am for you bringing you my top 5 favorite Disney snacks at Walt Disney World! I’m a chocoholic, so bank on a lot of these being chocolate. I’m also very poor, so these are more of a better bang for your buck!
1. Peco’s Bill “Nachos”
My first favorite snack at Walt Disney World are “Nachos” from Peco’s Bill in Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom. The reason I say “Nachos” is because they’re not technically nachos that you can find on the menu. The normal nachos at Peco’s cost around $10 and come with a TON of chips and meat; if you’re just looking for something small, that’s a lot of money to pay for a lot of food (I still highly recommend them though!). If you ask for just a side of chips, this only costs $3-4. I usually get the side of queso to put on top, and that costs $1 (it tastes a lot like the queso from Moe’s which we all know is DELICIOUS). Then you can get the rest of the toppings off of the free toppings bar and voila! A small plate of nachos that cost under $5. You can also get an AP discount on this, which takes off about $1. I’ll usually eat this while I’m waiting for the Festival of Fantasy parade!
2. Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich from Dino Bite Snacks
My next snack is something you can find in multiple locations in multiple parks, but I’m going to talk about the location in Animal Kingdom, Dino Bite Snacks. This is two GIANT chocolate chip cookies with a ton of ice cream in the middle, and it’ll fill you up really fast! It’s advertised as vanilla ice cream, but if you ask really nicely they’ll switch it to chocolate. It’s $5.79, but you could definitely split this with someone as a snack. I’m craving one just typing this, TBH.
3. Steamed Rice from Katsura Grill
This one is kind of a boring one, but it’s really worth talking about because it’s only two dollars. TWO. If you find yourself halfway around World Showcase with an internal body temperature of one million degrees and you feel like you’re about to die, get yourself a side of steamed rice. It comes with a decent amount, and they have soy sauce on the condiments bar if you want to flavor it up a little. It’s not the most exciting snack in the world, but most people don’t even know it exists and it’s SO inexpensive! (Pictured is steamed vegetables but I don’t think they sell those anymore)
4. Onion Rings at 50s Prime Time Café Tune In Lounge
I don’t think many people know you can do this, but if you go to the lounge right next to 50s Prime Time Café, you can get onion rings at the bar! They are DELICOUS. I love onion rings in the first place, but these are just soooo good. And bonus: this lounge has a bar, so you can get a drink AND onion rings. I don’t really think there’s anything better than that. They’re a little pricey for a snack at $7, but again, you can definitely split these with someone and be a very happy individual.
5. Mickey’s Premium Bar from Everywhere
I couldn’t make a top snacks list without mentioning everyone’s favorite, a good old fashioned Mickey’s Premium bar. I may be a little biased, but I think this is the best snack on property. It is chocolatey goodness, and you’ll get chocolate all over you but you won’t even care. 5/5 stars, would eat one every day of my life. The only bad part about MP bars is that they just raised the price of them to $5, but tbh I would pay $500 for these babies.
Thank you guys so much for reading, and thanks again Megan for inviting me to write a guest post! If you’d like to find me on the interwebs, just search MickeysPremium and I’ll be there.
Now it’s time for me to eat some snacks because this post made me hungry as heck.
