Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! Have you ever tried to do all four Walt Disney World parks in one day? Well this past weekend my family and friends and I did and let me just tell you this challenge is no joke! We were all exhausted by the time we left park four, and we still had a two and a half hour drive home. Here's what went down.
This challenge was essentially my birthday party! My birthday is coming up this weekend and last weekend was the only weekend EVERYONE could get together, hence the trick to my favorite place, Walt Disney World. We started out adventure at Animal Kingdom. If you've been around for a while you'll know how I feel about Animal Kingdom. It's definitely not my favorite park, but I do appreciate it for what it is. Our main Fast Passes were for Animal Kingdom so we had Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, and Kilamanjaro Safari! We also watched the new bird show, which we won't be stopping for again any time soon. This was from about 9:30 am, until 1:15 pm.
Then we headed to lunch at Animal Kingdom Lodge- Kidani Village at Sanaa! If you've never been to Sanaa you HAVE to go! It's one of the best restaurants on property. The bread service is amazing and everything we had was so good! The views from inside the restaurant are awesome! Animals will walk right up to the windows and you get a great view of the resort savannah. This was from about 1:30 to 3:00 pm.
After lunch we went to my favorite park, Hollywood Studios! There's something really special about Hollywood Studios and I don't know why, but it's just perfect. We started out by going on Tower of Terror, which is my favorite ride at Disney right now! This was also my mom's first time EVER riding Tower so it was definitely a fun ride. Then we headed over to Star Tours and got to ride twice due to low wait times, and I got to be the Rebel Spy one of the two times! This was from about 3:30 to 5:00 pm.
Epcot was next, and since it was Cinco de Mayo it was a hot mess there! We barely made it around World Showcase with all of the people around, but we did stop in at the Rose and Crown Pub for one of the best drinks to come out of the UK, a Pimms Cup! If you've never had one of these, you have to try it. It's hard to describe what it tastes like exactly, so you're just going to have to try one for yourself. We only got to do Test Track at Epcot before we were over the crowds and left for park four! This was from about 5:15 to 8:30 pm.
Magic Kingdom was last and we made it in right between Happily Ever After and Once Upon A Time. We stopped in at Casey's to get some snacks because none of us had eaten since lunch and we were hungry! We got to ride Pirates of the Caribbean, which was our first time seeing the new redhead scene. She looks really great, and I kind of like it. We also rode Splash Mountain, The People Mover, and Mad Tea Party! Unintentionally, we ended up closing down Magic Kingdom and staying until midnight. Luckily for us our coach didn't turn into a pumpkin, and we made it home!
Have you ever done all four parks in one day? Let me know in the comments if you have or if you want to! Also, be sure to follow me on Instagram to keep up with all of my Disney adventures!
