My Perfect Disney Day

Happy Wednesday, friends! I hope you all are having a great week so far! There's so much going on in the next few weeks with Easter this weekend, another runDisney event in April, and some other exciting things! Today I thought it might be fun to tell you guys about something I've been planning for a while, which is my ideal Disney day. I've been going to the parks since I was 2, so for almost 24 years, and I've gotten to do a lot of super cool things at Walt Disney World. Some of those things have helped me come up with my ideal Disney day! Maybe this will help some of you guys plan out your perfect Disney day too!

This day would be partly planned and partly spontaneous, and would start with me going to Boma for breakfast. I absolutely love Animal Kingdom Lodge, and I think Boma is one of the most underrated breakfast restaurants at Walt Disney World. I would let the main hustle and bustle of the families getting into the park go, and my reservation would be for around 9:15-9:30. I would have my fill of their delicious hash casserole, ham, homemade Nutella, and jungle juice, and head over to start my park day at Animal Kingdom. (Note: I'm leaving my car at Animal Kingdom Lodge for the day and taking Disney Transportation for the whole day because I don't want to drive some places.)

Why would we be starting at Animal Kingdom you might ask? Well, to me, Animal Kingdom is still a half-day park even with the opening of Pandora: The World of Avatar, so I'm just going there to do Dinosaur, and single rider for Expedition Everest. On the way out the Smiling Crocodile would be open and I would get a Pimento Cheese BLT, because YUM, and why wouldn't you be eating all day on the ideal Disney day?

The next park would have to be Hollywood Studios, where my FastPass selections would be made for the day. Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania, and Star Tours are all on deck, and there would be a little journey to the Star Wars Launch Bay to see my Launch Bae, Kylo Ren *insert heart eye emoji*. Exiting the park I would stop by Sweet Spells and get a carrot cake cookie to bring home and throw into the fridge, because they are way better cold than room temperature! I would hop on the boat to Boardwalk and stop at Ample Hills for some yummy ice cream, Gooey Butter Cake is my flavor of choice, and continue on walking to Epcot.

By now it's probably a little after lunch time and one of my favorite places for lunch in World Showcase is close by, the fish and chips stand in the UK pavilion. This and a cold beer is the lunch of choice, and a table by the lagoon. Obviously if I'm at Epcot I'm going to be going on Living With The Land, and lucky me I've found a FastPass for it. After strolling around Epcot for a while I get the monorail over to Magic Kingdom, where it drops me off at the Ticket and Transportation Center. Here I walk over to the Polynesian and get a Dole Whip because the line here is ALWAYS shorter than the line inside Magic Kingdom.

I'll be taking the boat from the Polynesian to Magic Kingdom where it's just starting to get dark, and corn dog nuggets are calling my name from the end of Main Street USA! All around Magic Kingdom there are people, so I head for the People Mover, because there's usually not a long wait there. I would stay until after Happily Ever After and do as many rides as possible, until it was time to get back on the bus and head back to my car at Animal Kingdom Lodge and end the perfect Disney day!

Well friends, that's what my perfect Disney day looks like! Let me know in the comments what yours is like. Also be sure to follow me on Instagram to keep up with all of my Disney adventures!
