Royal Tea Garden Tour
Happy Wednesday, friends! I hope you all are having a great week so far! I was so lucky last weekend to spend Sunday and Monday at Walt Disney World for my mom's birthday, and we got to do a new tour that's only around for Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot, the Royal Tea Garden Tour!
First off you have to know that there are two tours that go around the tea garden at Epcot in the United Kingdom pavilion, one is the Royal Garden Tea Tour which you must make a reservation for in advance of your vacation and is a paid tour, and the other is the English Tea Garden Tour which you sign up for day-of in the UK pavilion and is first come, first served and is free.
We chose the Royal Tea Garden Tour because my mom wanted to do this for her birthday, you get snacks at the end, and it's a pretty extensive tour, lasting about an hour and 15 minutes. Our guides were Rick and Kate, and were both very knowledgeable about tea and quite hospitable. You'll need to be at Epcot at rope drop to make it to the tour on time. Check-in is from 9:15-9:30 at the Rose and Crown restaurant in World Showcase, and the tour starts promptly at 9:45 am!
Your tour will take you through a really beautiful garden with all types of flowers and tea plants. You'll learn some of the history behind Twinings Tea, and the different types of tea grown at Epcot and around the world. This portion of the tour is about 45 minutes. You'll then head back to the Rose and Crown for scones and tea, along with some great views of World Showcase!
I would highly suggest this tour to anyone who loves tea, wants to learn something different at Epcot, or has a family member who is really into tea and wants to treat them to this event as a gift. My mom and I really enjoyed ourselves on this tour, and it was a great deal at $18.00 per person!
Well friends, I hope you all have a great rest of the week! Let me know in the comments if you've ever been on the Royal Garden Tea Tour or if you've been on any other tours at Epcot! Also, be sure to follow me on Instagram to keep up with all of my Disney Adventures!
Be magical today!
