Happy Monday, friends! I hope all of you had a great weekend! I spent my weekend planning my next trip to Walt Disney World, and my very first trip to Disneyland!!! I am beyond excited to get out to California but I have a little bit longer to wait on that one. Because I'm planning out my next trip to WDW and it's going to be in August, which feels like the surface of the sun in Orlando, I thought it would be fun to tell you guys about my top three favorite Summer Disney Style pieces to stay cool, and look good at the parks.
Anything Danielle Nicole Handbags
Danielle Nicole Handbags have become VERY popular in recently, and there's a good reason. They are super cute, relatively inexpensive, and they show off major Disney Style! This is a great alternative to a backpack, which can be really hot to wear in the summer. I've always been one to bring a backpack into the parks because you never know what you're going to need. But these handbags are the perfect way to add in a bit of something special into an outfit and actually fit quite a bit into them. I have the Beautiful As a Rose bag and I can fit my iPhone, keys, wallet, and sunglasses into mine. While I don't take this bag when I'm going to Magic Kingdom for the entire day, I do take it if we are heading to the parks after dinner at a resort (Boma, anyone?!) or if we are park-hopping and I have my car with me so I can leave things I might need at other parks in my car.
Patches are a major summer trend and I'm totally on board with it! I've was on the hunt for the perfect pair of denim shorts all spring and I finally found some at Levi's at Disney Springs thanks to a few of my friends on Instagram. At Levi's they also have an area where you can completely customize your shorts with patches. I chose three different ones, a mermaid tail, a Storm Trooper Helmet, and a Green Alien from Toy Story. They put the patches on for you right in the store and it takes about 10-15 minutes. They turned out super cute and now I'm obsessed with finding other patches to make my shorts even better. I recently bought the cutest seashell and Dole Whip patches from The Mermaid Harp, and those are going to go on my shorts as well.
The last thing on my list is Sunhats. Sometimes you don't want to wear ears to the parks, and other times you're laying out by the pool, and while it's great to have tan legs, having a sunburnt face is no fun. Right now I'm really loving being able to customize sunhats to say things. Mine says Disney Babe and has a Mickey on it for obvious reasons.
Well friends, I hope that inspired you to change up your Disney Style a little bit this summer. Let me know your favorite summer Disney Style pieces in the comments! Also, be sure to follow me on Instagram to keep up with all of my Disney adventures!
