Best Snacks at Walt Disney World
Happy Monday, Friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! If you're hungry right now I would grab a snack because reading today's post is just going to make you even more hungry because it's all about the BEST snacks at Walt Disney World! I think we all know about Dole Whips and we all know about Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bars, but there are some real hidden gem snacks that need to be talked about!
1. Carrot Cake Cookie- Hollywood Studios
This is by far my favorite snack/treat/yum/whatever to bring home with me after a day at Hollywood Studios. You can get carrot cake cookies at Sweet Spells and you will not regret it! I hate regular carrot cake, but Disney puts some next level magic inside of these and they are so so good. What I do is put them in my fridge so the icing sets up some more then I cut it into quarters. The actual cookie is pretty big, so it's easy to eat this over the course of a few days.
2. Nutellla and Fruit Waffles- Magic Kingdom
If you don't know where Sleepy Hollow at Magic Kingdom is, it can be easy to miss. It's a tiny little building at the corner of the pathway that goes behind the castle into Fantasyland on the Adventureland side, and the bridge into Liberty Square. This gem of a place sells three different types of waffles, spicy chicken, ham and cheese, and nutella and fruit! All of them are very good, but the nutella and fruit one is the best. It's sweet, but not overly sweet. The fruit is always super fresh, and each waffle is made to order, making for a perfect snack. These can easily be split between two people.
3. Buffalo Chicken Chips- Animal Kingdom
Over in Dinoland USA there's a snack stand called Trilo-Bites, and the the buffalo chicken chips is the only snack they sell, and everything else is drinks, but that doesn't even matter. I always think if you can do one thing really well, why have a menu full of sub-par items? This snack is super shareable, and it has those delicious housemade chips that Disney has been adding to a lot of meals recently. Then on top of the chips it has pulled buffalo chicken, arugula, celery, tomatoes, crumbled blue cheese and blue cheese dressing. If you're looking for a savory snack then this one is definitely worth checking out!
4. Croque Glacses- Epcot
Last on my list if the croque glaces, which can be found in the France Pavilion at Epcot in the ice cream shop! This pressed brioche ice cream sandwich is really what all ice cream sandwiches wishes they could be. First off, all of the ice cream made at L'Artisan des Glaces is homemade, so it's amazing and their flavors rotate seasonally. So what you do is pick a flavor of ice cream, then a syrup option of either chocolate, caramel or raspberry, then they press all of that in a modified waffle iron. The bread gets warm and the ice cream inside starts to melt, but it's still super cold. This is honestly one of the best things at Epcot.
Well friends, that's it for today! If you think I missed something let me know in the comments what your favorite Disney snack is! Also be sure to follow me on Instagram to keep up with all of my Disney adventures!
