Best Photo Spots at Animal Kingdom
Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for another exciting week ahead! Today I'm going to be finishing up a series I've been working on for a while, The Best Photo Spots At... If you've missed any of the other parks you can check them out here:
Animal Kingdom recently opened their newest land, Pandora: The World of Avatar and this area is beyond gorgeous and super photogenic, as is the rest of the park! Where ever you look, there's a beautiful picture ready to be taken.
Tree of Life
The main icon of Disney's Animal Kingdom is the Tree of Life. This massive man-made tree is stunning and the great thing is, that whatever your angle is around the park you're going to get a great photo. I love walking around the Tree of Life Trails and taking photos from the "back" where there is a waterfall and great views of Harambe Market. The detailed carvings in the tree make you want to stand there are stare for hours trying to find all of the animals that Imagineers put in.
Pandora: The World of Avatar
Pandora is by far the most beautiful area of Animal Kingdom! Depending on what time of day you go, the vibe is totally different. Obviously the floating mountains are going to be a major thing you're going to want to take photos of, but there are so many small details in Pandora that you are not going to want to take pictures of just the big stuff. One of my favorite areas is the stand-by queue for Flight of Passage, looking out over the valley. This view cannot be beat!
Maharajah Jungle Trek
This self-guided walking tour allows you to encounter so many different animals and well-educated Cast Members along the way. One of my favorite spots along this trail is where the tigers are. This area was made to look like old ruins of a temple, and it definitely has that feel.
The other major icon at Animal Kingdom is Expedition Everest! This high thrill coaster takes you high into the Himalayas to encounter the infamous Yeti. There's something really special about this whole area of Animal Kingdom, and I love that there are so many small details that did not get overlooked.
Harambe Market is located in the Africa area of Animal Kingdom. This area of the park is home to Kilamanjaro Safari and Festival of the Lion King! I honestly believe that all of Animal Kingdom is super detailed, but this area, for me, takes the cake on immersiveness. There's nothing like walking through Harambe early in the morning to hear wile birds, the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch, and the Tambu Tambu Drummers!
Well friends, that it for today! Let me know in the comments your favorite photo spots at Animal Kingdom! Also, be sure to follow me on Instagram so you can keep up with all of my Disney adventures!
