Monday Must Haves: June 20, 2016
Happy Monday, friends! I hope you guys had a fab weekend! This weekend for me was spent working on orders to be all caught up by today, hanging out with my dad, and planning a Disney vacation! (Big surprise there, huh?) This week for me is all about celebrating summer! Today is the first "official" day of summer, except it's felt like summer here in Florida since April.
One of the newest Disney Instagram accounts I'm really enjoying is called From Where I Disney. Basically you take a picture of your feet at a Disney icon on the ground, like a manhole cover, a resort rug, or ride number, and tag them in it, and they will repost you. This is along the same lines as the purple wall, walls of Disney, and all of the other Instagram's using smaller icons of the parks. To me though, From Where I Disney, is a way to really take in small details of the parks, and take in all of your surroundings!

If I'm being honest, my summer wardrobe isn't that impressive. This is mostly because I work from home, and I don't have to get dressed up to go to work. Most days I wear Nike running shorts and a t-shirt to work. My "honest summer wardrobe" is the same one I run errands in, go out with my friends to get ice cream in, and work in. And during summer, I usually don't wear makeup during the week, because no one sees me. So here's to a summer where the clothes options are super easy!
Like I said in my fashion section, most days I don't wear makeup, but on the days that I do, I tend to keep it super simple: foundation, mascara, lipstick (maybe?), and a wash of color through the crease of my eye. This takes less than five minutes. I love this because no one wants to be weighed down by heavy makeup in the middle of summer, especially here in Florida, where the average summer day can be 100 or more!
I've been listening to a lot of Hillsong United lately, and I love their record, Empires. One of my favorite songs is "Touch The Sky."
If you haven't seen it yet, the Mexico and Norway pavilions at Epcot started serving breakfast this past weekend because Norway is now open at 9:00 am with the rest of the park so people can see the Royal Summerhaus where Anna and Elsa are doing meet and greets, and ride the new Frozen Ever After. (RIP Maelstrom) I'm pretty interested in these new offerings. I checked out the menu for both, and the menu at Mexico looked way better, but any time you can travel back to World Showcase before 11 is a win in my book.
Yes, this category is back this week because there was a lot of new stuff that opened this past weekend at Disney. One thing I'm really excited about is Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire. I saw some awesome pictures and video from it and I cannot wait to see it myself! I wasn't a huge fan of Dream Along With Mickey, so now that this new show has Rapunzel and Flynn in it, I have really high hopes.
Well, that's it for this week's Monday Must Haves! If you try any of these things, or have something you think I should try, let me know in the comments. Also let me know if you've seen MRFF!
