Monday Must Haves: March 7, 2016

Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! This week's Monday Must Haves are a mixed bag of random things I've been loving lately. I can't wait to get to share them with you, so I'm not going to hold out any longer.

Social Media:

There's a really awesome new social site for women who want to share their stories about careers called La Femme Collective. While they haven't officially launched yet, their social media game is awesome. They are really working hard at building a following and getting people to interact with their brand. It's pretty hard to get people to try something new, and LFC is doing it all right!

I've been living in my Rolling Stones t-shirt the past few months. I wear it probably once every few weeks. It's quite possibly the most comfortable band t-shirt I've ever gotten. The thing about band t-shirts is that they can look really tacky and you can look like you just walked out of the merch store after spending $200, or they can look really cool. It all depends on how you dress them. With my RS shirt, I love wearing it with some black skinny jeans and black booties. When it's warmer I love wearing with some white shorts, sandals, and some sort of statement makeup- usually a red lip!

There is a ton of awesome makeup launches this Spring, but one of the best is Burberry, and the one product getting the most attention is the Eye Colour Contour. Basically it's a cream eyeshadow stick, in a wind up pen, in some of the most gorgeous colors! One of my favorites is the color 112 Rosewood, which is a shimmery, dusty rose pink. They go on so smooth, and blend out so easily. They couldn't be easier to use, even people who don't really get into makeup will love these! While the Burberry eyeshadows are on the expensive side, there are some great dupes in the drugstore right now, but nothing is going to compare to the iconic branding and payoff of something Burberry.

You know how you get into this music rut of listening to the same things over and over again, whether it's a song, or an album, or a few different artists? Well I was in that rut for the past few months where all I wanted to listen to was James Bay, Taylor Swift, Ellie Goulding, and One Direction. But now things have changed, and I've gone through my iTunes library and made a new playlist and I'm loving Brooke Fraser again. I forgot how much I loved her music, and how good it was!

Usually this is where I post some awesome YouTube video, or some vlogger I'm loving, but today I wanted to share something about my personal YouTube page. I've gotten a bit busier with my Etsy shop, writing for Beauty Advisor, this blog, and YouTube, so I've decided to just post videos on Tuesday. I noticed that my video quality was going down and I want to be able to take my time instead of just pump out boring videos, so now it's #YouTubeTuesday!

I've been to  Wales, Ireland, and England, and a question I get a lot when I come home is what was the best thing you ate. When I was in Wales the best thing I ate was at this tiny cafe and I had a cheese sandwich. Like just grated cheese on a sandwich. But it was so simple and so perfect, and it was the perfect day outside, and I just got to enjoy some alone time during a hectic week of a mission trip. And while I love Nando's, now that I can get their hot sauce at Publix that craving has gone down. But the one thing I crave most is Gregg's. It's basically the perfect junk food. Imagine if a chicken pot pie was in a toaster strudel, but just the chicken and the gravy. That's what a chicken bake from Gregg's is like. And I miss that.

Well that's it for this week's Monday Must Haves! If you have anything you think I should try, let me know in the comments. Also let me know what your favorite band t-shirt is!
