Monday Must Haves: Monday, October 17, 2016
Happy Monday, friends! I hope you guys had a great weekend! I know I did, as I am right in the middle of planning two trips to Disney in less than two weeks! I'm so lucky to live close to the parks and have family and friends who support my Disney obsession. This week's Must Haves is going to be all about going to Disney just for the day and going specifically for the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival!
Chelsea and Jill over at Styled by Magic are creating some very special Disney magic on Instagram right now and I'm so proud to call them friends! They are taking the very best of what the Disney creators community has to offer and putting them into incredible park-day or just everyday outfits! From awesome shirts and ears, to touches of Disney from Alex and Ani bracelets. Every time I see one of their pictures pop up on my feed I get really excited to see what small shop is going to be featured next, and get new ideas for my park day outfits. If you're headed to the Disney Parks soon, you need to be following Styled by Magic!
When I'm headed to Disney for the day there are two things I like to keep in mind:
1. Comfort is key.
2. Don't dress like you just got out of bed. You never know who you're going to see.
One of the reasons I have these two rules is because nobody likes walking around a theme park in a t-shirt they really hate because it's uncomfortable. And the other is, besides characters you can actually see some pretty cool people at Disney! The last two times I've been I've been able to randomly meet up with friends from the Disney Instagram community. One of my newest purchases that fit rules one and two are the new Toy Story Vans! Can we just talk about how cool these are?!
These shoes are super comfortable and look awesome! And almost all of the designs have ANDY written on the bottom of one of the shoes! No detail was to small for these shoes, friends! If you're still looking for some but haven't been able to find any in your size, I got mine from Zappos, and they had all sizes a few days ago still!
When I'm doing Disney for a day, I try to stick with the rule of five for makeup, which means five products or under. My typical makeup is going to be something that I don't have to touch up every five seconds, and will last the whole day! I tend to go with these five products:
1. NARS Sheer Glow Foundation
2. Anastasia Brow Wiz
3. Tarte gold eyeshadow
4. Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara
5. Any nude color lipstick
Since we're talking about going to the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival we can't skip talking about the food! This is one of the best times to visit Epcot with friends. Partly because you can split paying for things, and you get to try so much food! One of my favorite things from the festival this year is the hummus fries from the Morocco outdoor kitchen! If you're going to F&W you have to get these!
Well friends, that's it for this week! If you love these things, or have something you think I've missed, let me know in the comments! Like this post if you're going to Disney soon.
