Monday Must Haves: March 23, 2015
Happy Monday friend! I hope you had a great weekend filled with dance parties to "Shake it Off" and a whole lot of adventure. This is a really busy week in the world of Megan, but the past few weeks have been pretty busy. I know that all of the business is going to pay off though. I hope you guys loved having a St. Patrick's Day themed Must Haves last week, but this week it's back to just random things I'm loving at the moment.
The Jacksonville Sharks are hosting a media day tomorrow, and as a team correspondent for a league website I get to go! If you've never been to a media day, they are pretty cool. The Sharks are going to be showing off their new jerseys, two new secondary logos, and introducing some new players to the media. After all of the introductions are done, the media will be able to ask questions of players, coaching staff, and owners of the team. If you're interested in any of that stuff keep a watch out on a couple of different social media accounts of mine:

Brynn Elliot is a blogger, stylist, and adventurer. If you're not following her on Instagram you're missing out. Her pictures are stunning and shes willing to have a conversation with anyone. I would say just don't go perusing her Instagram when you're hungry because her food pictures are going to make it worse!

You guys know how obsessed I am with all things British! Well that doesn't exclude fashion. I love British brands, and if it wasn't so expensive I would be paying the exchange rate and ridiculous shipping fees to shop online at some of my favorite British stores. But that's not what this is about. The other night, my best friend/ stylist sent me this amazing skirt!
Yes friends, that is a mid-skater skirt with the London skyline printed on it and I need it! It's beautiful and paired with a cream crop top and some nude heels, I'm pretty sure it would be the perfect outfit.
While I would normally put something here that's a hair product or a style, this week is going to be a little bit different. I got this book for Christmas and it has come in handy so many times! There is so much hair-spiration in the pages that you're never going out of style. It's a must have for anyone who loves experimenting with new looks. Some of the braids or twists that are more intricate might involve you bribing your mom or best friend to help you out, but believe me it's worth it in the end.
There's nothing better than a sale, especially a sale on makeup. Usually this means one of two things: one, they are trying to get rid of old stock to bring in new (but this doesn't mean the old stock is out of date makeup!) or two, they are trying to promote new brands and items for the rest of the season when they aren't going to be on sale. Right now Ulta is having their big semi-annual sale and it's so good! If you haven't popped in to see everything you are missing out. There are so many things from Urban Decay, Tarte, Butter London, Smashbox, Benefit, and all of the drugstore brands on sale. I got my favorite Tarte mascara, Lights, Camera, Lashes, which is usually $20 for $10 during the sale! I also got a Tarte quad and two eyeliners for $34, among other things. I will be showing off everything I got when the sale is over at the end of the week. If you love makeup like me, you simply must be going to Ulta this week to scoop up the rest of the deals.
ight now I'm loving Ellie Goulding! Partly because the beats behind her songs make me have a dance party where ever I'm at, and partly because she's super awesome!
Anything with Jimmy Fallon is going to be good, right? I don't know about you but my favorite thing about the Tonight Show is the segment called "Ew!" and Jimmy finally did another one. If you're having a crappy Monday this will definitely cheer you up.
If you're looking for a good sushi place to go to this weekend look no farther than Kazu! They have the best sushi in Jacksonville, and I've tried so many places. The menu is diverse but still small so everything is made with precision and quality. The plates come out beautifully and you can tell the sushi chefs take pride in what they are doing. I suggest sitting at the bar because then you can see everything being made, which is fun. Also, get the butterfly roll, it's all that you want sushi to be.
That's it for this weeks Monday Must Have's! If you try any of these thing out, or have anything you think I should try let me know in the comments! Also, let me know what you think I should pick up from Ulta from their semi-annual sale and I will see if they still have it in stock. Like this post if you think, like me, you would never get tired of London.
